Oyster Spike Necklace - Small Version

When I used to see an oyster shell, most of the time it was "yummy!"   Now, I see opportunity (and also, yummy!)

These shells have been coated in UV resin to help add strength and also enhance their natural beauty.  Shells were gathered from Fort Monroe Outlook Beach in Virginia.  The shells are strung using pearls as their anchor in the center.  The chain is comprised of pearls and large copper-lined seed beads.

Necklace measure 16" long.  Center oyster is 2" long.
