Oyster Spike Necklace

When I used to see an oyster shell, most of the time it was "yummy!"   Now, I see opportunity (and also, yummy!)

These shells have been coated in UV resin to help add strength and also enhance their natural beauty.  Shells were gathered from Fort Monroe Outlook Beach in Virginia.  The shells feature a variety of items dangling inside - from pearls to Czech glass and sea life.
