Never Seen Barbados

This piece was created from a place of healing. In the song "Me and a Gun," Tori Amos recounts a sexual assault, repeating that she "hasn't seen Barbados, so she must get out of this." The view of Barbados comes through the car windshield not in a dreamlike state, but rather as a coping mechanism.
